GALVESTON ENGAGEMENT SESSION
film photographer Christine Gosch
This one was very special to me. If you keep up with my blog posts, you know I like to stroll down memory lane every so often. This is absolutely one of those times :)
Please rewind 15 years. I’m in junior high, awkward as can be, playing the saxophone in band class. I find myself sitting next to my future best friend, Erin, who is playing the french horn. We instantly become friends. We’re both goofy and love animals. We grow up together, play basketball and soccer together (after promptly quitting band), and have too many inside jokes to count. Erin is truly one of my favorite people and she’s hilarious, good company, and a beautiful soul to the core.
Fast forward to today where she has found the love of her life, Jessica, and they’re engaged! It was truly an honor to take photos of such a momentous chapter for two amazing women.
They’re both so chill (a very common trait that seems to run through the veins of most of my awesome clients, if I’m being frank) and willing to do whatever for photos. I loved the part of their session where they just sat by the water and cuddled. They picked this location in particular because it had water with no sand. We also knew we didn’t want tons of people in the background of their photos, so the beach was eliminated from the running.
Most of my sessions consist of walking, talking, joking, and chilling, so this time around we did just that. We had some awesome light & clouds join us for their session (the first and last photos in this post are my favorites for this reason, other than the fact that there are two crazy-in-love humans in the photo). All around amazing time with beautiful people and I’m so glad they’ve found one another.
