WARM AND COZY SPRING WEDDING TABLE IDEAS
INTIMATE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I really do have the best job. If you haven’t heard me say that before, maybe you should head over to Instagram and give my account a follow. I talk about it way too much! One of my favorite things about my job as a film photographer within the wedding industry is maintaining relationships with like-minded wedding vendors. I love getting together to chat or grab a meal, and I especially love when we get together and collaborate on a special project in order to create new content for ourselves and exercise our creative muscles.
Kim with Sojourn Weddings is a Houston + destination wedding planner who is also quite talented with florals. She’s relatively new to Houston and is really shaking things up with her fine art style and beautiful vision. I always love watching her travels & floral adventures on her Instagram stories with the occasional appearance of her pup!
A few months ago, Kim asked if there were any dates we could get together and photograph a floral arrangement she had made. This thing was bodacious as heck and perfectly suited for a minimal and cozy spring wedding. The way the sweet pea scent filled the room and draped out of the florals to kiss the table was one of my favorite ‘moments’, as I like to call them, of this arrangement. The letter pressed menu and striped linen napkins added to the cozy feel of the table we designed, making an opened bottle of champagne at the table feel perfectly at home.
We shot well past when I should have with film (as it needs SO MUCH natural light if you’re not shooting with a flash) and I’m so happy with the moody vibes these images have.
If your wedding day is all about a minimal, artistic, cozy vibe, I know just the girl for you. All vendor credits listed below!
